Bilen Measho Kidane

I am a 4th-year student in the electrical and computer engineering department, industrial control engineering stream. I have always been fascinated about how our day-to-day life is becoming simpler by the things that are built using the knowledge of Modern physics and Mathematics. I am interested in the fields of robotics, control systems, and the internet of things, and in the future, I see myself in academic research that involves these areas. In my free time, I like playing table tennis and hanging out with friends.

I’m a 4th year Computer software engineering student at the University of Rwanda - college of science and technology. I consider myself a cybersecurity enthusiast.

My role model in this field said it takes 30 years to build a reputation and few minutes for a cyber-incident to ruin it and with this I think we have to secure our information with best and strong techniques. That’s why after completing my bachelor degree I want to continue my studies and specialize in cybersecurity and I believe it will equip me with enough skills to fight against numerous cybercrime in my country and all over the world.
