I was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Currently I am a fourth year student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, studying in the Industrial Control Engineering stream.
I have come here to the University of Michigan via the AURA program to study and accumulate research experience that would definitely help in the coming years when I am going to work on my thesis before graduating and PhD research after graduating. I am now associated with a research called ‘Development of Electric Machine Control System’.

I am a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering student at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (Ethiopia) and a current research assistant at the University of Michigan within the AURA Program. Currently, I am working on the Design and Fabrication of Bio-inspired Small-scale Reconfigurable Robots that can swim and crawl using smart materials.
Starting from my childhood, my dream has been to contribute to the technological development of Ethiopia. The AURA Research Program has given me a chance to challenge my limits; opened a new horizon of thoughts, areas that I can do research on and give back to my community and the world at large.

I'm a rising 5th year Software Engineering major at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology. I came to UoM as part of the AURA program for summer of 2019. I'm working on a project run in collaboration by Computer Science and Engineering(CSE), MLD3 Research Group , and Mechanical Engineering, Sienko Research Group. It's called "Machine Learning for Data Driven Decision". My primary focus is on detecting/classifying Loss of Balance events using data from small wearable Inertial Measurement Units(IMUs). I've got a glimpse of what's like being a Ph.D student and huge experience in doing a research

I am a software Engineering major at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia). I am currently a fourth year student looking to graduate on June 2020.
I am currently taking part in the African Undergraduate Research Adventure (AURA) program at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI, USA). I am working on two projects. One is Security With Ambiguous Net-list (SWAN): Mitigating Hardware Trojans with Design Ambiguity and the other is Dynamic Repartitioning during Dynamic Graph Execution. This program has given me a chance to be around people that I can look up too. I am brought into an incredible environment were I am able to learn, work hard and also enjoy myself. I hope to use what I learn here for my future.

I am from Ethiopia and I am a fourth year student in Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, in the department of Electrical and Computer engineering, Communication engineering Stream. I came to UMich as part of a summer research program called AURA. Currently I am working on two projects called Dynamic Re-partitioning During Dynamic Graph Execution(DREDGE) and Security With Ambiguous Netlist(SWAN). They are hardware based solutions to the specific problems they are both addressing.

I am a Software engineering Student at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology and I will be graduating by summer 2020.
I am part of the Summer-2019 African Undergraduate Research Adventure (AURA) program and I am working on a computer security project called Morpheus which is aimed at developing a secure
processor based on moving target defenses and Churn with Professor Todd Austin. It has been an amazing experience so far working in a new environment and culture alongside very supportive scholars from all over the world.
This was the perfect opportunity I needed to advance in my career . Ann Arbor is also a peaceful and beautiful city
